“Welcome to the annual BOPMadness (Bufo’s Oscar Prediction Madness)! You’ll rank every nominee in every category: put the one you think the Academy is most likely to pick (not necessarily the one you think most deserves it) on the top. We play for that most valuable of all human possessions: braggin’ rights. I will announce winners in the Big Six, The Incredibly Difficult Maven Section, and Overall. Deadline is Saturday, March 9th at noon Pacific Time to give me time to get the predictions out. We have usually been quite accurate as a group: the more people who play, the better! I think it also helps not to have seen the movies, since that tends to prejudice you towards what you liked, as opposed to what the Academy might do.
