Bill Maher had some interesting points on his show on Friday.

As we reported, he chastised the people/media who were lying about what President Donald Trump said about former member of Congress Liz Cheney, saying no, there was no threat, despite the media and Kamala Harris trying to spin that lie.

Then there was the Joe Biden comment calling millions of Trump supporters "floating garbage." That, Maher said, was going to be bigger than some thought.

But he also had another guest on, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), who said something rather shocking, if you consider the history of what Democrats have been saying about elections and election "denialism." Maher asked him if he would accept the election results. But Maher doesn't understand the problem with Raskin's reply:

When I say we will support a free and fair election, no, we we're not going to allow them to steal it in the states, or steal it in the Department of Justice or steal it with any other election official in the country.

If it's a free and fair election, we will do what we've always done. We will honor it.

The audience clapped.

Maher said, "That is the Democrats' history: They honor it. That's the big difference between the parties."

Of course, that's nonsense. Democrats have challenged the presidential election every time they lost over the past 24 years. When Trump won last, they objected to the electoral count, with Raskin himself registering an objection. Then, there were the schemes people tried to come up with to deny Trump the win by trying to flip electors. Some of the electors were even threatened. Then of course, there were inaugural riots, and the more than 70 Democrats who boycotted the inaugural.

But let's also look at what Raskin just said. He said, "If it's a free and fair election, we will honor it." Haven't we been told by the Democrats for years now just saying that is a form of election denialism? Then too, Raskin is talking about elections being stolen, saying we're not going to let them "steal it in the states, or steal it in the Department of Justice or steal it with any other election official in the country." I thought elections couldn't be stolen, and our elections are secure. So, you mean they're not--elections can be stolen? Then too, is he setting up a case to contest the election, suggesting somehow the GOP might steal it?

Raskin's terminology is interesting. How can Trump/GOP steal an election with the DOJ, if he doesn't control the DOJ? What is he trying to say?

If Trump had said this, it would be leading every news program, with people yelling from the rooftops about how bad it was. So naturally, this had people raising eyebrows all over X about what Raskin had said, and speculating on what might happen.

Remember, this was Raskin's prior statement, which he made over the summer, about the 14th Amendment:

Plus, it sure sounds like he thinks Trump is winning, if he already seems to be setting up "stealing" scenarios.

The only way democrats can win is by cheating!
