Doug Emhoff was campaigning in Cobb County, Georgia on Sunday when he let loose with the cringe. My colleague Ward Clark wrote about some of it earlier, as he spoke about his relationship with Tim Walz. Emhoff spoke about how he gave him a big "bro hug." He also bragged about his wife being such a "badass" (despite the fact that she was installed in an anti-democratic coup and received no primary votes from the American people for the nomination for the top position). His description of her raised some eyebrows. “Kamala did what Kamala always does. She put her head down and went to work,” Emhoff said. Yikes. Did he really just say that? That got a lot of attention as the tweet went viral. But Emhoff wasn't finished yet. He was talking about "bro culture" and the gender gap that Kamala Harris has on MSNBC with Symone Sanders, another Democrat/media person (same thing). Harris has trouble with male voters, including young males. Men are supporting Trump by a big margin in virtually every poll. The Harris team doesn't seem to understand why that would be. Emhoff tries to spin a story to help his wife, but he doesn't realize in telling the story, he just emphasizes the problem. He spoke about an 18-year-old whose mother said that he was leaning toward Trump but then supposedly changed his mind after he "stopped watching podcasts and UFC" and listened to a Kamala speech. This is one of those impossible stories to check that frankly no one believes. X Owner Elon Musk wasn't buying it -- and he wasn't the only one. But the funny thing about it is that it exposes their fear of President Donald Trump's strength in hitting podcasts and unconventional media. He's been burying Harris and likely increasing his young vote with such interviews and events. Notice Emhoff even acknowledges their concern about the fun side of Trump. He tries to spin that as being something he isn't. But everyone can see that is Trump, he isn't fake and inauthentic like Kamala. If they "do the research," the young men will find that Trump's policies make far more sense, and all Kamala has had to offer them is the failed last four years. Trump had good jobs, low inflation, tax cuts that helped most Americans, and no new wars, a great thing for 18-year-old men and, frankly, all Americans. Emhoff is also not exactly a guy who has any credibility when it comes to telling an 18-year-old anything between the nanny stories as well as the allegations about slapping an old girlfriend. Talk about cringe -- this guy has a bucketful. Who could vote for anyone connected to this much cringe in addition to all the bad actions and policies?
