We all knew what was at stake. Alleviating the suffering of people most impacted by climate change. The protection of our precious planet’s ecosystem. The overarching need to move from a fossil fuel economy towards a just and healthy renewable energy future. So many of us worked tirelessly on getting out the vote, which makes the results even more devastating. So what do we need now?
Now more than ever, we need to come together! Join us for our first post-election call to grieve and to ground in our faith. Our traditions teach us to love and care for one another, and offer nourishment and guidance for tumultuous times. Whether you have been in the climate justice fight for a long time, are reconnecting, or even just starting out, we are gathering together for sanctuary and community.
No matter who’s in office, our work remains the same: to build a resilient, faith-led climate movement and fight for the collective future of all people and the planet.
