Agatha All Along fans have been running with the idea that the witches we are losing on the way for Agatha quest for power will come back. It is a marvel show so are we really killing off people for power? The thing about that is yes. According to the show runner Jac Schaeffer the death are final only so we can pay respect to those who are gone. In this interview with variety that is not the only thing she is hinting at though.

“What I want to say is that this is a show about death. We actually have the character of Death in our show. I am interested in that conversation, and I am fascinated by how death is used in the comic space and in the MCU. Personally, I feel that when a person dies, you can still talk to them and feel them, and they can still be in your lives. But death is immutable. It is permanent. With this show, we wanted to pay respect to that. So, this is a more earnest and grave conversation about death than maybe you would find in another superhero project.” Schaffer

Did you catch it? Death is in our cast. Fans have been speculating that not only is death in the cast but that it is Aubrey Plaza character Rio coming for Agatha after she has been dodging her for so long. The show has been heavily hinting at death presence since Rio was brought in. Thus why many fans thought or think it is her. So while Shaffer discuss about who is gone it does make sense I guess to bring up that Death is in fact casted. Or Lady death since Marvel universal concept of Death is a woman. (PS don’t compare it to Hela in the comics as Marvel is keeping that distant between death in different faiths or pantheons.)

So they will not be coming back as Schaffer confirms.
